Canadian English is mainly spoken in Halifax, which is based on British English with many interesting expressions.  The majority of people in Halifax were born and raised in Canada and have English as their mother tongue.  It is a great city to learn English and discover the history of Canada.
In addition services by the Canadian Federal government are provided in both English and French.
