The City of Toronto is quite cosmopolitan and contains many multicultural groups. Because the city is multicultural, it's also multilingual. Its people speak many different languages and many follow the traditions of their native lands, sometimes mixing them with Canadian customs.

In addition services by the Canadian Federal government are provided in both English and French.
