EPE - English for Post-Secondary Education

  • Official Pathway Program at KGIC. No official test score needed to gain entry to selected colleges and universities affliated with KGIC
  • Intensive reading and writing practice including paraphrasing, summarizing and researching
  • Academic preparation covering all areas; reading, writing, speaking, vocabulary, study skills and note taking
  • Small class size for optimum academic benefit of each student
  • Wide variety of college-level curriculum topics covered in each module
  • Monthly tests and academic counseling to evaluate student progress

Program Length
  • 4, 8 or 12 week certificate program
  • Schedule: 8:30 am – 1:00 pm
  • Average 22.5 hours in class per week, 270 hours total
Entry Requirements:


TOEFL: CBT 173 / PBT 500 / iBT 61; TOEIC: 650; or completed Advanced Level 4 at KGIC or any equivalent recognized international test score or a pass on our entrance exam. Entrance interview required.


Exit Requirements
  • Program exit level is KGIC Proficiency Test score of 65
  • If a student fails to meet this requirement, they can retake the next available module and re-write the exit test
