Introduction


It is time for another fun summer of adventure and learning at KGIC's "Global Leaders" summer camp. The aim of the camp is to do just as the title says: to create the global leaders of tomorrow. Students will build international friendships, and develop their condence all while expanding their English skills. Summer camps focus on fun lled learning through activities and interaction with others. Exciting outings include trips to Victoria, an overnight camping trip, and Science World!

Students will have the chance to:

• Enhance their English language skills through the study of curriculum materials based on the world around them.
• Expand their vocabulary, increase their grammar knowledge, and build essential reading and writing skills.
• Develop their creativity, teamwork, and confidence while putting together presentations for their fellow students.
• Develop their writing skills through daily journal sessions and communicate with friends and family back home through weekly blog sessions.

 

What Will the Students Learn?

Block D: Listening and Pronunciation
Block E: Communication


Program Details


Ages:

Children: 8 - 12 years
Juniors: 13 - 16 years


Transportation:

pick-up and drop-of to and from school Mon – Sat

Accomedation:

Homestay for 3 weeks: 3 meals a day

Additional Details: Airport Pick-up and Drop-off
Personal Travel Insurance is mandatory and not included in the tuition fee


Program Dates

Term 1: July 11 – July 29, 2011 (3 weeks)
Term 2: July 25 – August 12, 2011 (3 weeks)
2 Weeks Program Available to Start: July 11, 18, 25 and August 1
