English for Post Secondary Education
KGIC ADVANTAGES
- No TOEFL/no exam entry to selected post-secondary institutions
affiliated with KGIC across Canada.
- Receive a conditional letter of acceptance from the college of your choice
upon registration in EPE and the college program of your choosing.
- Intensive academic preparation covering all areas; reading,
writing, speaking, vocabulary, study skills.
- Small class size for optimum academic benefit of each student.
- Wide variety of college-level curriculum topics covered in each module.
- Monthly tests and academic counseling to evaluate student progress.
Program Length
- 12 week certificate program
- Schedule consists of three 4 week modules
- Choose between an AM and PM session running from
Monday to Friday
- AM schedule: 8:30 am – 1:00 pm
- PM schedule: 1:00 pm – 5:30 pm
- Average 22.5 hours in class per week, 270 hours total
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Completed KGIC Level 4 and KGIC Proficiency
Test score of 40. TOFEL: CBT, 173/PBT 500/iBT: 61, or completed
Pre-EPE course at KGIC with minimum passing grade of 80%.
EXIT REQUIREMENTS
- Program exit level is KGIC Proficiency Test score of 65
- If a student fails to meet this requirement, they can retake the next
available module and re-write the exit test.
