"Do Well What You Do"

SPIRIT • TEAMWORK • LEADERSHIP • OUTDOORS
As a Trailblazer, you will go places you never dreamed possible.
2010 marks the 8th time we run our Trailblazer Outdoor Adventure Program. Trailblazers in the past came from Mexico, Italy, Belgium, Canada, USA, Germany, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, France, Austria, Spain and Japan, didn’t know each other, but accomplished many amazing things in four weeks. They climbed the Black Tusk a peak of 2315 meters and gazed at glacier-fed lakes. In 2010 Trailblazers from around the world will again challenge themselves in an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
We invite you to learn English, learn about Canada and learn about yourself.
Become a Trailblazer – your memories will last a lifetime!

The KGIC Trailblazer program is a four-week outdoor adventure and leadership program.
 |
Trailblazers is not an English course and it is not a standard English or activity program. It is a 4 week program, and consists of three weeks of theoretical and one week of practical training in the Greater Vancouver area and BC (British Columbian mountains).
We will teach you:
- Leadership skills
- Team membership skills
- Outdoor skills
- Camping skills
- Survival Skills and First Aid Skills
- Communication skills at an advanced level
- Use of English for a specific purpose
|
Participants need to have an intermediate to advanced level of English. You might have the opportunity to work side by side with Canadian youth, giving you an opportunity to practice your English with native speakers and to make new friends for life. |
